Auger bits are a vital component of your hole-drilling system. Toughness that comes from extra machining, more welding, and a precise geometry are standard equipment. Only LOWE® offers you so many extra features at so little cost. Standard auger length is 48” but augers are available at various lengths on request.
Lowe SQ-Series Augers are an excellent combination of performance and price. They feature a fabricated boring head, bolt on teeth (standard heat-treated or optional carbide tipped), heavy duty double wrap flighting, hardened fishtail center point (carbon tipped center points are also available), and made to fit 2” (51mm) hex shafts (In stock at TN Skid Steer Supply) or 2-9/16” (65mm) round (by order only)

- 1-1/8″ Female square point receiver
- Bolt on replaceable teeth

We at TN Skid Steer Supply especially recommend the carbide tipped auger teeth for the larger auger bits 24″ and wider. The outer teeth on the larger bits will wear faster than the inner teeth because they cover much more distance than the inside teeth do. You will be suprised how much longer your large sized auger bits will last by only replacing a few of the outer most teeth with carbide tipped teeth!
